Broadcast Channels
Buzzio broadcast channels are one-to-many announcement feeds. Admins post; followers read, react, and vote — they do not reply in a chat thread.
Why broadcast
Creators and organizers need a clean feed for updates without turning every post into a group conversation. Broadcast is that surface.
Creating a channel
- Name, @handle, category, optional avatar
- Public (searchable / category / trending) or unpublic (share via link, QR, or handle)
- Up to 5 admins including the creator
- Follower scale up to about 100,000
What admins can post
Text, photos, video, voice, and polls (up to 4 options).
What followers can do
- Read the feed
- React with a fixed emoji set (one reaction per post)
- Vote on polls
- See counts — not who reacted or voted
Notifications typically start muted when you follow. Shared feed retention is about 30 days. Creators can buy extra History Boot storage; followers may gift storage.
Broadcast vs Communities vs Groups
| Need | Prefer |

Privacy note
Broadcast is a shared product by design. Content is managed so feeds and discovery work. We do not sell channel data.
