Our story
Why we built a privacy app
Most messengers glue your chats to a phone number, then ask you to trust a cloud that keeps reading your social graph. We wanted something different: private messaging that does not require a personal SIM to exist.
Buzzio started as a bet that people deserve both sealed conversations and real shared spaces — groups, communities, channels, Stories, Whisper — without pretending every feature is the same kind of private.
Honest about what we store
Sealed chats aim to be a blind relay. Shared rooms and feeds store more on purpose so communities and channels can work — and we say so up front.
Never a data-broker model
We do not sell messages, metadata, Buzzio IDs, community posts, Whisper content, or backups. Privacy is the product, not the pitch.
