Multi-account

You can keep more than one Buzzio identity on the same phone and switch between them. Each account has its own Buzzio ID, phrase, chats, and keys. Keys stay on the device.

Use this when you want a personal identity and a second one without swapping phones.

Get started

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Open Accounts.
  3. Add another account — create a new identity or import / restore an existing one with Buzzio ID + 12-word phrase.
  4. Switch accounts from the same Accounts sheet. You may be asked to confirm with your device lock.

Switch safely

  • Switching does not merge chats. Each identity stays separate.
  • Notifications follow the account that is active, plus whatever the OS allows for background accounts.
  • Always keep each 12-word phrase. Losing one phrase loses that identity.

Tips and limits

  • Treat each account like a separate install of Buzzio.
  • Premium, backup, Vault, and Rocket Drop entitlements belong to that Buzzio ID, not to the phone.
  • Do not paste phrases into chat, email, or screenshots.

Troubleshooting

I cannot add another account

  • Finish setup of the current account first (phrase saved).
  • Confirm you typed the import ID and 12 words correctly.
  • Free up device storage if the app cannot create a new local database.

The wrong chats appear after a switch

You are looking at a different identity. Open Accounts and confirm the Buzzio ID in the header matches the one you expect.

I forgot which phrase belongs to which ID

Buzzio cannot look that up for you. Label your offline copies (ID + phrase) yourself when you write them down.
