Introduction
Look the way you want — without changing privacy.
Themes and wallpapers are appearance tools. Pick an app theme, set chat wallpapers, and — with Premium — use a shared wallpaper both people see in that chat. Appearance never rewrites the sealed vs shared privacy model of the conversation underneath.
Personal themes stay yours. Shared wallpaper is a Premium perk — labeled clearly, not buried.
Why Buzzio is best for themes & wallpapers
App themes
Personal themes change how Buzzio looks on your device — without forcing everyone into one skin.
Chat wallpapers
Set a backdrop per conversation so each chat has its own atmosphere.
Shared wallpaper
Premium: a wallpaper you and the other person both see — same scene on both sides.
Honest Premium gate
Shared wallpaper for both sides is called out on the Premium perk list — not a silent upsell.
Pairs with chat lists
Custom chat lists can carry their own theme and tones — another Premium organization / appearance layer.
Name color nearby
Premium name color tints how your name appears in chats — related cosmetics, separate control.

How it works
How to use
Open appearance settings
Find theme / wallpaper controls in Profile or chat settings as shipped.
Pick an app theme
Choose a personal theme so the whole app matches how you like to read and tap.
Set a chat wallpaper
Open a chat’s wallpaper options and pick a backdrop for that conversation.
Try shared wallpaper
With Premium, set a wallpaper both sides see — so the other person gets the same scene.
App themes
Personal themes change colors and overall look on your device. They are local appearance — they do not grant Buzzio staff a new way to read sealed chats, and they do not publish your theme choice as a public profile badge unless a separate cosmetic does.
Wallpapers
Your wallpaper
- Backdrop you see in a chat
- Personal / local preference
- Available without shared mode
Shared wallpaper
- Premium perk
- Both sides see the same wallpaper
- Set from the chat appearance tools
What themes do not mean
They do not change E2E status. They do not replace Screen security or App lock. Shared wallpaper needs Premium. And a fancy backdrop is not a substitute for field-level profile privacy when you share @username.
Tips
- Use calmer wallpapers in busy work chats
- Try shared wallpaper for a chat that feels like “ours”
- Pair list themes with Custom chat lists for inbox slices
- Keep Premium cosmetics separate from Vault / backup purchases
Ready to make it yours?
Download Buzzio, set a theme, pick a chat wallpaper — and unlock shared wallpaper with Premium when both sides should match.
