Introduction
Cross-language chats without a cloud translator.
Buzzio translate sits on top of messaging you already use. Open a message menu for a one-off translation, or enable Premium auto-translate so incoming text shows a translation under the original. Language packs download once; after that, translation stays on this device.
We do not route your chat text through a Buzzio translation server. Packs come from ML Kit; translations stay on your phone.
Why Buzzio is best for translate
On-device ML Kit
Powered by Google ML Kit — translations stay on device after the language pack is installed.
One-off or auto
Long-press / overflow Translate anytime. Premium auto-translate fills incoming text in the bubble.
From and To
Set source and target languages in Translation settings — download packs when the app asks.
Works with sealed chat
Decrypt first, translate locally. Buzzio never needs a plaintext copy for a translation API.
Honest Premium gate
One-off translate remains available; continuous auto-translate is a Premium perk — labeled clearly.
Text, not every media
Auto-translate targets incoming text — not every GIF caption or sticker label.
What you get
- One-off Translate
- Premium auto-translate
- From / To languages
- On-device packs
- In-bubble result
- 1:1 and supported chats
How it works
How to use
Open a chat
Start in a 1:1 (or another surface that offers Translate in the message menu).
One-off translate
Open the message menu and choose Translate. Download a language pack if the app asks.
Set From and To
Open Translation settings, pick source and target languages, and add packs as needed.
Turn on auto-translate
With Premium, enable auto-translate so incoming text translates in the bubble.
One-off vs auto-translate
One-off Translate
- Message menu → Translate
- Available without continuous auto mode
- Needs a language pack on device
- Great for occasional bubbles
Auto-translate
- Premium perk
- Incoming text in the bubble
- Requires From and To set
- Not every media caption
On-device ML Kit
Translation uses Google ML Kit language packs on the phone. The first download needs network; after that, translating a decrypted message does not send that text to Buzzio for translation. Packs need free space — if install fails, free storage and retry from Translation settings.
Powered by Google ML Kit · translations stay on device.
What translate does not mean
It is not a human interpreter. It does not auto-translate every media type. Pack download needs network the first time. And ML Kit quality varies by language pair — treat sensitive legal or medical wording carefully.
Tips
- Set both From and To before expecting auto-translate to run
- Retry pack download on a stable network if install fails
- Use one-off Translate when you only need a single bubble
- Pair with voice-to-text when the hard part is hearing, not reading
