Buzzio Private Vault

A biometric-locked, end-to-end encrypted personal locker for files, notes, and passwords — separate from chats, and unlockable only with keys you control.

Introduction

A vault next to messaging — not a second chat history.

Private Vault is Buzzio’s place for materials you want locked under a second unlock path: device biometric or PIN, plus vault wrap keys you hold. Store folders, media, encrypted notes, and site + password entries without mixing them into sealed chat threads.

Content is encrypted before upload. Staff cannot open your vault. We do not sell vault contents.

Why Buzzio is best for a private vault

Encrypt before upload

Files and notes are sealed on your device. The cloud holds ciphertext, not a staff browsing panel.

Second unlock path

Device lock plus vault recovery material — leave the vault and the in-memory key clears for the next visit.

Separate from chats

Conversations stay in chat. Vault is for durable private files and secrets you do not want in a thread.

Honest plan ladder

Free space forever for light use; paid Standard, Pro, and Elite tiers when you need more room.

Not chat backup

Encrypted backup restores sealed history. Vault stores the files and notes you put in it on purpose.

No staff override

Lose PIN, phrase wrap, or vault recovery key without a fallback you control — nobody can reopen that vault for you.

What you get

Folders, media, encrypted notes, and password entries — behind biometric / PIN unlock and keys you custody.

  • Biometric / PIN unlock
  • E2E before upload
  • Folders & media
  • Encrypted notes
  • Password entries
  • 20 MB free forever
  • Paid space tiers
  • Separate from backup

How it works

Unlock model

  1. Open Private Vault

From Profile → Private Vault on the Buzzio app.

  2. Unlock the device gate

Use biometric or device PIN when Buzzio asks — the first layer of the vault door.

  3. Hold vault wrap keys

Vault wrap uses either your 12-word phrase wrap or a separate 64-character vault recovery key you create.

  4. Leave clears memory

Leaving the vault clears the in-memory key so the next visit re-prompts — less idle unlock residue.

Encryption

Vault content is encrypted client-side before it leaves the phone. Buzzio stores encrypted blobs so you can reopen them later. Without your unlock material, those blobs stay sealed — including from Buzzio staff.

Treat vault recovery material like cash. Never send it to support.

Storage plans

Exact store prices can change — confirm in-app. Typical space ladder:

Space

  • Free — 20 MB forever
  • Standard — about 25 GB
  • Pro — about 50 GB
  • Elite — about 100 GB

After a paid plan ends

  • Uploads pause when space is over limit
  • Download, share, and delete still work
  • Cloud vault files are typically retained about 90 days, then removed

Private Vault is a separate paid product from Buzzio Premium, encrypted chat backup, Rocket Drop, and Whisper Link Packs.

What to store

  • Folders and media uploads you want locked
  • Encrypted notes that should not live in a chat thread
  • Site name + password entries
  • Sensitive documents you still want on an encrypted cloud path

Boundaries

Private Vault vs Encrypted backup

Private Vault

  • Personal file and secret locker
  • You choose what enters
  • Biometric + vault key unlock
  • Free 20 MB + paid tiers

Encrypted backup

  • Restore private chat history
  • 1:1 + permanent E2E groups
  • Backup recovery key unlock
  • Different free / Premium cloud sizes

What Private Vault does not mean

Vault is not Rocket Drop transfer fuel, not chat backup, not Saved Messages, and not Whisper Link Packs. It is not available as a sealed vault client in the open web product. And there is no staff recovery if you lose every unlock path you set.

Tips

  • Write down your vault recovery key offline before you rely on it
  • Confirm plan prices and age rules in the app store listing
  • Export or download important files before a paid plan grace ends
  • Use sealed chats for conversation; use Vault for durable private files
  • Read the Private Vault article for a shorter overview
