Buzzio GIFs live in the composer’s Emoji / GIF / Sticker panel. Search trending or typed queries, tap a result, and send it as chat media. Search is powered by GIPHY — an independent partner for GIF discovery, not a Buzzio sale of your private chats.
We do not sell chat content because you searched for a GIF. Search queries may be processed by GIPHY under GIPHY’s own policy.

How to send
Open the panel
In the composer, open Emoji / GIF / Sticker and switch to GIFs.
Search or browse
Type a query or pick from trending results powered by GIPHY.
Tap to send
The GIF sends as chat media on that conversation surface.
Check permissions
In Communities, roles may control who can send GIFs — ask an admin if blocked.
GIPHY search
GIF discovery uses GIPHY as an independent controller for search and related request data. The picker shows Powered by GIPHY attribution. This path is for the GIF / sticker search feature — not advertising your sealed chats, and not Buzzio selling who you message.
Optional partner feature — skip GIF search if you do not want those queries.
Privacy strip
Search queries and related request data may be processed by GIPHY under GIPHY’s terms and privacy policy. After you send, the GIF follows that chat’s media model — E2EE media in sealed chats, shared CDN / room rules in open-history surfaces. Partner outages can affect GIF search without taking down core Buzzio messaging.

What GIFs do not mean
GIF search needs network and a healthy GIPHY path. Roles can block send_gif in Communities. Freemium media limits still apply when you send. And searching GIPHY is not the same privacy story as on-device sticker packs you already imported.
Tips
- Use short search terms for better trending matches
- Prefer stickers when you want a local pack without search
- If GIF send fails in a Community, check role permissions
- Partner blips can pause search — chat text still works
